Admission and entrance

Purbanchal University's rule for the whole system: One centralised entrance examination run by the Faculty of Engineering for every constituent and affiliated college, on one date, at centres the faculty assigns5. Its portal is entrance.puexam.edu.np.

  • The faculty's 2024 seat list places this campus at Mechinagar, Jhapa and the regulator's register places it at Dhulabari, Jhapa. They are the same campus.3
  • One registered programme and one named programme, which agree. Its 2083 candidates sat the entrance at Gomendra Multiple College, Birtamod.4
  • Its campus chief describes it as the only community campus in Koshi Province teaching engineering under Purbanchal University.2
  • The newest approval on this register but two, granted in Bhadra 2080, and its own notices publish the 2083/84 entrance application in Nepali rather than in English.2
  • Its published eligibility is a +2 in Science with physics, chemistry and mathematics, or a diploma in civil engineering the university recognises.2
